Ricky Thomas Jr. (who writes under the pen name R. T. II) was born and raised in Richlands, in the southern lands of North Carolina. An 80's baby at heart, Rick's childhood was surrounded by books, computers, video games, and action figurines. When his mother arrived from work with a few Dungeons & Dragons books, he naturally took to the world of fantasy, creating homemade comics and random story ideas until writing his first novel ‘Shadow Genesis Volume One: Preludes of War,’ in 2010.
Has inspired many of his friends and family to follow their dreams.
